Description
Title taken from caption of woodcut.
Woodcut depicts the mythical Vletif, the Licorn of the Sea that was thought to inhabit the ocean off the coast of Africa. Some think that the Vletif is a description of the Narwhal, but it is most likely the Sawshark, which is known to live off of the coast of South Africa.
