Title taken from caption of woodcut.

Woodcut shows a mythical beast known as a Succarath. The Succarath was a mythical West Indies monster. When threatened, its young would jump on its back, and it would shield them with its large tail. Once the young were on its back, the Succarath would run away from danger.
