Mudkhal ilá ṣināʻat aḥkām al-nujūm was a 10th century introductory text to astronomy and astrology. Written by ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz Ibn ʻUthmān (or Alchabitius), it was translated from the Arabic in the 12th century by John of Seville. This edition, printed in 1491 with the title Libellus ysagogicus Abdilazi, includes many horoscopes as well as an explanation of the relation of the planets to bodily infirmity.
