Diagram of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and in part the vagina, from in front with anterior wall removed (figure 1), the external organs of generation in the female (figure 2), the pelvic organs and external organs of generation in the female displayed in an antero-posterior (sagittal) section with the vagina distended in a conventional position (figure 3), and the mammary gland with one portion represented as dissected to display the lobules and connective tissue loculi (figure 4).
