                    Diagram of the arrangement of the peritoneum (figure 1),  the posterior wall and roof of the naso-pharynx, designed to display the adenoid tissue (figure 2), the tonsil (figure 3), the organs of the abdomen in situ, in repletion of the stomach, normal (figure 4), and the organs of the abdomen in situ, in inanition drawn from the body of a young woman who died of phthisis pulmonalis (figure 5).
